Trilogy Vital Moisturising Cream Review.

When I think of powerfully natural, high quality, luxurious skincare I immediately think of Trilogy. This New Zealand based skincare brand is known world wide to produce some of the finest, high performance natural skincare products around. Even the Duchess of Cambridge uses their gorgeous Certified Organic Rosehip Oil!
I absolutely love the beautiful ingredients they use in all their products and I can see why they are just so popular.

Today I'm reviewing the Trilogy Vital Moisturising Cream!*
This is a fantastic day or night moisturiser which I have been absolutely LOVING. (Yes, capitals were necessary.)

This gorgeous moisturiser has a beautiful floral aroma, is very light weight and extremely nourishing. It has been formulated with Trilogy's trademarked unique ingredient Rosapene which is a blend of organic Rosehip Oil and other powerful antioxidants which helps protect against free radical damage.
It also contains so many other simply beautiful ingredients such as Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Vitamin E, Acai Fruit Oil, and many more! All of these help lock in moisture and give my skin a beautiful glow. It also contains extremely beneficial botanical actives including Marula Seed Oil, Orange Flower and Evening Primrose! These are known to improve the texture and elasticity of the skin as well as helping repair and renew the skin. This is also great for those with ageing skin as it helps smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

I honestly can't say enough good things about this product. I knew I was going to love it, but I didn't know I would love it this much!
I love applying it morning and night after cleansing and/or exfoliating my skin. It is beautifully enriched and leaves my skin feeling healthy and radiant. It locks in moisture which is perfect for my dry/normal skin and I love seeing the results! My face has never looked so nourished and felt so soft.
A little bit goes along way with this and half the size of a five cent piece covers my whole face.
It is honestly one of the most luxurious moisturisers I have ever used and will continue to use! I can't get over its beautiful, heavenly aroma and how it leaves my skin feeling renewed and hydrated. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone!

Nature's Way Whole Foods Vitamin C Review.

I don't know about you, but when the weather changes my body tends to notice. Normally at this time of year when the weather is going from hot to cold I experience the dreaded cold symptoms, you know the ones? sneezing, coughing, runny nose, blocked nose-all in one day!
So this year I decided to keep on top of it with just a few minor changes, and I haven't had any nasty symptoms of anything all year! This past month the weather has been changing a lot and I'll admit I felt a bit nervous... But still none! Exciting to say the least.
One of the minor changes I've made this past month is by taking the Nature's Way Whole Foods Vitamin C Tablets.*
Vitamin C as you probably know helps fight infections and strengthens the immune system (and loads more of course!)
These beauties however are far superior over your normal synthetic Vitamin C tablets for so many reasons. For starters, these chewable tablets are made using whole foods (raw, unprocessed foods from nature.) This means that you are consuming Vitamin C in its most pure state and therefore consuming the full nutritional benefits! It is also far more easy for our body to digest and absorb as our bodies are designed to absorb things in their most natural state-makes sense hey?!
So what exactly are in these little whole food beauties? Well, you may not have heard of these so I decided to list their Vitamin C benefits below too!
Nature's Way have used three powerful ingredients in these tablets, these are:

Acerola Cherry:
These little bright red cherries are native to the tropics of Southern America and Southern Mexico. Compared to an orange which delivers around 100 milligrams of Vitamin C when consumed, Acerola Cherries deliver around 1,600 milligrams of Vitamin C!

Camu Camu Berry:
These are found in Amazon rainforests and are about the size of a lemon, except they can range from an orange colour to a purple colour. These are jam packed full of goodness, with one serving giving you around 30 times more Vitamin C than an orange! These are known to be one of the most abundant sources of Vitamin C on the planet!

Amla Berries:
Also known as the "Indian Gooseberry", these cute greenish/yellow berries contain around 20 times more Vitamin C than oranges and are becoming extremely popular.

I have loved taking these and really love knowing I'm taking pure Vitamin C instead of the synthetic alternative. They don't taste like your normal synthetic Vitamin C tablets as they have more of a subtle natural berry taste, but after taking these just for a few days I have started loving this taste even more!

These are so perfect for general health as well as the change of seasons and I've been recommending them to all my friends and family.

Main Ingredients: Acerola Cherry, Camu Camu Berry, Amla Berry.

Best Used: Taking 1 tablet daily.

Suitable For: Anyone and everyone, except children under 15 and pregnant women.

Pros: A delicious way to consume more Vitamin C in its most natural, unprocessed state. Gluten free, Vegan, Non GMO.

Cons: None.

Price/Purchase From: Around $17.00 for 60 Tabs- You can find these in your local supermarket or online at www.Naturesway.com.au

Sukin Super Greens Detoxifying Facial Scrub Review.

I don't think I'm the only one who has been loving the new Sukin Super Greens Range! This range offers many skin benefits as they are full of superfoods for the skin as well as a high amount of antioxidants! All ingredients aim to promote healthy skin and a glowing complexion.
So when my previous exfoliator ran out I decided to try this one, the new Sukin Super Greens Detoxifying Facial Scrub- and I'm so glad I did!

Exfoliating our skin is so important. It not only to removes dead skin cells which causes skin to appear dull and dry, but it also allows moisturising products to penetrate more deeply into our skin, which makes these products work even better! Regularly exfoliating will leave your skin healthy, radiant and revitalised.
(Many celebrities such as Jessica Alba, Christie Brinkley & more say this is their secret to achieving a natural glow and healthy skin!)

This is by far one of the best exfoliators I have ever used. It uses micro jojoba beads and gorgeous ground bamboo to gently exfoliate impurities and polish the skin. It contains Kale, Spirulina, Chlorella & Parsely to give my skin that added boost of antioxidants as well as Pineapple, Licorice and Lime Peel to help clarify skin and promote a radiant complexion.

When I first felt the texture in my fingertips I thought it was going to be too gentle on my face, but it actually gives my skin the perfect amount of exfoliation! It's gentle but intensive. (In other words, it may be gentle but it works wonders!) A little bit goes a long way with this product and a five cent piece amount can cover my face, neck and décolletage, plus a bit more!
It is one of those products I get excited about using. It has a beautifully fresh, subtle fruity aroma which I absolutely love and it always leaves my skin feeling clean, smooth and refreshed. My skin has definitely felt cleaner and looked more radiant since using this.
It is a great inexpensive exfoliator that lasts for a long time!

Main Ingredients: Sesame Seed Oil, Ground Bamboo, Micro Jojoba Beads, Spirulina Extract, Chlorella Extract, Parsely Extract, Kale Extract, Jojoba Oil, Rosehip Oil & more!

Best Used: As a regular exfoliator. I apply this to my fingertips and massage it into my face and neck then rinse well.

Suitable For: All skin types- but I always say to double check the ingredients and/or patch test if you have sensitive skin.

Pros: A beautiful and inexpensive natural exfoliator that lasts a long time! Gorgeous scent and no sulphates, parabens etc- No nasties!

Cons: None.

Price/Purchase From: $12.95 for 125ml- I buy my Sukin goodies from my local Priceline or online at www.Sukinorganics.com

Natures Way Organic Coconut Oil Capsules Review.

As a huge coconut oil lover I have always wanted to consume more of it. However as I wanted to consume it daily I wanted to find an easier way to do so. So while searching through the Nature's Way website one day I came across these, the Nature's Way Coconut Oil Organic Capsules!

I was so excited when I first saw these. It was one if those "Oh, I am SO getting those!" moments.
These make consuming this superfood so much easier!
So incase you're wondering the health benefits of coconut oil and the benefits of taking it daily, I've listed some below!

-Supports Immunity
Coconut oil contains high amounts of Lauric Acid, Caprylic Acid & Capric Acid. These contain antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties. These give the immune system a huge boost! It also has a large concentration of healthy medium chain fatty acids which the body turns into monolaurin. The body can then uses monolaurin to heal many different kinds of viruses!

-Weight Management/Energy
Coconut oil is extremely easy for the body to digest as it doesn't need to be broken down. It is absorbed directly into the liver and is converted into energy that our body uses straight away! This amazing oil also slows down the rate at which we digest food, meaning you will feel fuller for longer! It also boosts the metabolism which helps keep weight off.

-Eases Digestion
Coconut oil is a great oil to consume for those with digestive disorders such as IBS, sensitive stomachs and microbial tummy bugs. It's the healthy fatty acids that contain the antimicrobial properties which aids in soothing the stomach and helping to fight off stomach nasties.

-Helps Stop Sugar Cravings
If you find yourself constantly hungry or always craving sugar it can be a sign you're not feeding your body correctly. Coconut oil has proper amounts of healthy fats and protein and by consuming this instead you can use your energy reserves more effectively and stop craving sugary foods as much.

This superfood has so many benefits for you inside & out and I absolutely love taking these, I'm so glad I found them!

Main Ingredients: 1000mg of virgin, cold pressed, unrefined certified organic coconut oil.

Best Used: Taking one capsule daily. I like to take mine after lunch.

Suitable For: Anyone and everyone except children under 15 & pregnant women.

Pros: Such an easy way to consume more coconut oil! I really love these! Gluten Free, Non GMO, Certified Organic, No Preservatives.

Cons: This isn't really a con but worth mentioning. The capsules are quite large so those unable to swallow larger capsules may struggle with these. I looked at them and definitely thought I wouldn't be able to swallow them, but they're really easy somehow! If you know me you'll know I've come a long way...

Price/Purchase From: $19.99 for 60 Capsules. I couldn't find these in any of my local stores so I bought these online at www.Naturesway.com.au (www.health365.com.au)
