MooGoo SPF 40 Natural Sunscreen Review.

If you know me, you know how much I love natural sunscreen. Other sunscreens contain many nasty chemicals that frankly I don't want anywhere near my body- or my children's! Having worked in a pharmacy I've seen so many people come in and say that their chemical sunscreen is irritating their skin or their child's and wanting to know what to do about it. This is why myself and fellow co workers would always recommend a zinc based, natural sunscreen. The one I'm reviewing today is one of my all time favourites, introducing the MooGoo SPF 40 Natural Sunscreen!*

You know how much I love MooGoo, they are so legit when it comes to ingredients and I just love that. This sunscreen has taken them four years to perfect and boy have they done an amazing job. Containing mainly Zinc, Water and Jojoba Oil this beauty is not greasy at all and applies so beautifully. It is definitely the best natural sunscreen formulation I've seen. The natural zinc acts as an umbrella to reflect both UVA and UVB radiation from the sun and leaves my skin feeling protected and looking glowy. It has only a slight, subtle earthy aroma which does fade that I really like as well.

This sunscreen is suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive! I love how I can use this on my little ones and never have to worry about what their skin is absorbing. It also applies wonderfully on the face and doesn't feel heavy or greasy in the slightest like some other natural sunscreens can. Did I mention it's also SPF 40?! 

(Wish I could have recommended this product years ago to all my customers in the pharmacy!)

MooGoo/Dusty Girls Lip Favourites

Personally, I'm a bit crazy about natural lip balms. After years of having dry, dehydrated lips and trying countless lip products to fix them, I came to realise what worked best for them and what ingredients to look out for to give them the proper hydration and nourishment they so badly needed. I can confidently say that MooGoo lip balms are by FAR the best lip balms I have ever used and they have repaired and nourished my lips properly. 

Below I've listed my all time favourite balms of theirs, as well as a Dusty Girls natural vegan lipstick which is definitely my most favourite natural lipstick I have ever used- Enjoy!

What I love about the MooGoo lip balms is that there really is no nasties in them- just pure natural ingredients. The Cowlick lip balm is perfect if you're looking for a general purpose, every day balm. It is full of gorgeous ingredients including Jojoba Seed Oil, Coconut Oil, Soybean Oil, Cocoa Butter, Natural Vitamin E and more! I love how they've added a touch of Mandarin Oil to give the most subtle, delicious aroma. All the ingredients in this balm are perfect for every day hydration and softening. This is the balm I use before I put on any other lip product. 

Tingling Honey Lip Balm:

I absolutely love this lip balm like crazy. This is perfect for those whose lips need serious repair and nourishment/ those with dry, chapped lips. As someone who is obsessed with honey in products I was so excited to purchase this balm! Ingredients include Honey, Allantoin (for repairing), Menthol (for preventing infection/protecting the lips), Jojoba Seed Oil, Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Cocoa Butter, Natural Vitamin E, Lemon Fruit Oil and more! 

I seriously love how it gives a cooling, tingling sensation when applied and love how it keeps my lips looking and feeling renewed, soft and incredibly hydrated. This is my go-to balm whenever my lips need that extra bit of nourishment and unlike many other balms, it actually works- hallelujah! 

Strawberry Tinted Lip Balm:

I'm so grateful for MooGoo creating this product. This is the most gorgeous tinted lip balm I have ever used and I love it's subtle colour pay off and luxurious formulation. Another thing I love about this is that the subtle berry colour doesn't come from the red dye that Cochineal insects produce when boiled (yes- many other brands use this to get that red colour we so love!) Rather, they've used Red Beetroot Extract to give the most beautiful subtle colour. I also love how they've added Strawberry Fruit Extract to give a slight strawberry taste. The ingredients in this beauty include Sweet Almond Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Shea Butter, Natural Vitamin E and more! Out of all the balms I love this formulation the best, it's so thick and luxurious! I use this whenever I'm wanting a more natural lip colour or under/over the top of other lip products. It's amazing. 

Dusty Girls Natural Vegan Lipstick in "Chia Seeds":

Dusty Girls (Created by MooGoo) specialise in natural makeup and have just brought out these new Natural Vegan Lipsticks! They describe how they are made as "made using a blend of micas for a highly pigmented and vibrant colour, alongside edible ingredients such as Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter and Vitamin E to lock in moisture." 

These beauties are available in four shades, and "Chia Seeds" is simply beautiful. More sheer than it appears, it gives off a beautifully versatile look of both red and brown hues. I love using this as an every day lip colour and just love how soft and versatile it is. I'm so used to lipsticks drying out my lips but never have to worry about that with this product.

Dusty Girls Earth Cream Review

I absolutely love a good tinted moisturiser but sometimes the ingredients in the product just down right scare me. 20 chemicals I can barely pronounce? No thanks. This is why I love- and I mean love the product I'm reviewing today.

I have absolutely loved using this "natural tinted cream" and find it simply beautiful on the skin. Unlike many other tinted moisturisers, this product contains gorgeous natural ingredients including Fennel Flower Seed Oil and Manuka Tree Leaf Oil known for healing and repairing the skin. It also contains Shea Butter, Aloe Vera, Magnolia Acuminata Extract, Chaulmoogra Tree Seed Oil, Natural Vitamin E and more! All of these combined plus the fact that is it fragrance free make it perfect for even those with sensitive skin. (Another little bonus it that it's also SPF 5!)

My favourite way to use this is right before I apply foundation. I love knowing that my skin is absorbing the natural ingredients and creating a lightweight, natural coverage. I find it incredibly easy to apply and love knowing my skin is being moisturised and protected at the same time. I've used it for weeks now and still absolutely love it, whether by itself or under foundation. It also has a subtle earthy aroma which I really like. 

If you're looking for a natural tinted moisturiser that won't irritate your skin I can't recommend this one enough! It's fantastic. This product comes in two shades, Light and Medium and I find the Light shade perfect for my skin.

The Benefits of Dry Body Brushing

Dry body brushing is becoming more and more popular, even some day spas are now offering this! But if you're wondering what it is, the best way to see results, and the actual benefits then look no further! 

Basically, dry body brushing is the process of lightly brushing your skin with a dry brush before showering. The important thing to remember is to start at the feet and always brush towards the heart. This is important because it helps the lymphatic system function even better (the system that removes wastes, dead cells etc.) by increasing blood circulation. 

The other benefits of dry body brushing are:

A Natural Exfoliator.

Dry body brushing acts as a natural exfoliator by loosening and removing the unwanted dead skin cells that accumulate on our skin, leaving skin feeling soft and renewed. It's important to remember however never to brush too hard- long, smooth strokes are best and skin will generally look slightly pink afterwards from blood circulating to the area. 

Helps Remove Toxins.

As I mentioned before with the lymphatic system, when metabolic waste isn't removed from the body they can become toxins. Dry body brushing can help in this area as lightly brushing the body stimulates the nerves under the skin which assists draining toxins from the body. This in turn helps the body run more efficiently and has been known to provide more energy. (So not recommended to do at night!)

Cleanses Pores.

While this method exfoliates it also cleanses the pores of the skin helping keep skin clean, fresh and smooth. (This does not apply to the face however as these brushes are way to harsh! I generally only brush up to my chest and leave my face and décolletage.) 

Cellulite Help.

Though not completely proven, dry body brushing has been known to help with cellulite by helping break down fatty deposits and increasing circulation to the area.

Helps Strengthen and Regenerate Skin.

Dry brushing can help strengthen the pores of the skin as well as aid in regenerating the production of collagen and elastin fibres.

If you've always wanted to try this skincare step I highly recommend it! My brush as shown above has massage nodules as well, helping to relax the skin which I absolutely love. Dry body brushes are available from some health food shops and pharmacies.

Goodness Every Day Cream Cleanser Review

As you may or may not know, I absolutely love a good cleanser. I've reviewed many of their products before, and here I am again- Introducing the Goodness Every day Cream Cleanser!*

I love that fresh faced feeling when all your makeup is removed and your skin is left feeling fresh, soft and clean- and this cleanser does an amazing job at it! 

Like all Goodness products this beauty is full of gorgeous ingredients including Aloe Vera Extract, Sweet Almond Oil, Avocado Oil, Coconut Oil, Vitamin E, their famous Chia Seed Oil and more! 

All of these work together to not only remove makeup residue, dry skin and any other unwanted nasties, but nourishes and smoothes skin at the same time! (Making it absolutely fabulous for my dry skin.) Another great thing about the Goodness range is that their products contain no parabens, petrochemicals, PEGs, sulfates, silicons, harsh surfactants or other nasties. 

I love using this day or night in the shower massaging it into my skin in circular motions. After using it I always notice my skin looking cleansed, fresh and radiant! It has a beautiful floral, grassy aroma that reminds me of being in the garden which I just love. The other great thing about this cleanser is that it comes in a huge 150ml tube which never seems to run out!

Goodness C.O Chia Seed Oil Review.

As you may already know, I am a huge fan of the Goodness Products skincare range. One of their most unique products they have released is what I'm reviewing today- say hello to the Goodness Certified Organic Chia Seed Oil!*

If you're anything like me, the first time you heard this you were probably quite surprised- I know I was! Chia Seed Oil for my face...?! 

(It actually takes 1kg of Chia Seeds to produce 250ml of oil! Crazy hey?!)

This luxurious oil however has many skin benefits and has a perfect 3:1 ratio of Omega 3 to Omega 6 essential fatty acids. These fatty acids have been known to reduce acne and repair the skin, keep skin plump, help with psoriasis, keep skin cells healthy and balanced and more!

This oil is perfect for general skin health and radiance and I love how it had been known to treat more serious skin conditions. 

As far as the oil goes itself, it reminds me a lot of Rosehip Oil with its mild nutty aroma and lighter gold/yellow tone. It's extremely lightweight and slick making it ultra easy to apply. I absolutely love applying this morning and night either with my moisturiser or before it. My skin is always left looking enriched and healthy, while feeling soft, nourished and revived. 

(I'm also using it on my little pregnant belly at the moment to prevent any stretch marks and I'm thoroughly loving it!)

OGX are a gorgeous brand that create so many different varieties of shampoos and conditioners that really stand out. These beauties are loved by many around the world and today I'm reviewing some of my favourites! 

(As there are four different ones I'll try to keep it brief!)

Coconut Water Shampoo & Conditioner:

As a huge coconut lover I absolutely love these! In my opinion, there's no better way to start your day then having a beautifully rich coconut aroma fill the shower. This range contains gorgeous Coconut Water and Coconut Oil to hydrate and infuse hair with Calcium, Potassium and Protein leaving hair strengthened, shiny and soft! I used two sample sizes of each and absolutely loved them! 

Argan Oil of Morocco Shampoo & Conditioner:

This gorgeous range not only contains

Argan Oil known for being high in vitamins, antioxidants and minerals (a celebrity staple hair oil) but it also contains Hydrolyzed Keratin, Cocoa Butter, Avocado Oil, Coconut Oil and more! All of these work to lock in moisture and shine all while thoroughly quenching dry hair. This range is also great for protecting hair from heat/styling damage! 

Cherry Blossom Shampoo & Conditioner:

I remember first looking at this range and thinking, "Cherry Blossom?! For my hair?!" Little did I know that this ingredient was extremely rich in nutrients and vitamins and works to restore dry, damaged hair. It also contains Green Tea Leaf Extract which has been known to boost hair growth! If you love floral, fruity aromas you will love this fragrance too.

Sea Mineral Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner:

I love how this range is packed with some of the oceans natural ingredients! These beauties contain Sea Minerals, Algae Extract and Kelp Extract known for their high concentration of nutrients they naturally absorb. This helps benefit hair by repairing and restoring dry strands as well as locking in hydration. I love how this range has a beautiful light, beachy aroma.

Eco Tan Natural Coconut Sunscreen Review.

Even in Winter it's so important to protect our skin from the sun, and as it's our bodies largest organ it's certainly worth protecting! 

Normal sunscreen however, contains many chemicals that aren't 
good for us or our skin that get absorbed into our bloodstream, which is why using a Zinc based sunscreen is the only kind I use.

So today I'm reviewing by far the most gorgeous Zinc based sunscreen I've ever used, the Eco Tan Untinted Natural Coconut Sunscreen! 

I simply can't get across how much I adore this product- which I never thought I would say about a sunscreen! 

As a huge coconut lover this is just such a perfect product for me. It contains SPF 30 and is a broad spectrum sunscreen-and is available in either a tinted or untinted version! It's also water resistant for 3 hours and gentle enough to use on our little babies which I just love. 

All the ingredients are all natural and there are no hidden nasties. 

What I love about this sunscreen is that it not only contains Zinc but other natural moisturisers too, just some of the ingredients include Coconut Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Zinc Oxide, Silica, Shea Butter, Rosehip Oil and more! Like, come on, that's pretty fabulous. 

This also contains Vitamin E and Cucumber Extract to help cool and soothe the skin which is a great idea. 

I love using this sunscreen and don't find it greasy in the slightest. It applies beautifully and has the most incredible coconut aroma. Whenever I have it on my skin feels completely protected and I love how you can use it on your face as well as your body.

This is honestly one of those products that makes me laugh every time I use it because I love it so much. Even throughout the week I'll randomly flip open the lid and smell that stunning coconut aroma, it reminds me of the beach in Summer which is just perfect. 

If you're looking for an all natural sunscreen with added moisturising ingredients then this would br perfect, a highly recommend this and can't get enough of it!

Best Used: As a beautiful sunscreen and re-applied every 1-2 hours.

NEW Trilogy Age-Proof CoQ10 Eye Recovery Concentrate Review.

Trilogy have incredible products available for those wanting to treat and fight the visible signs of ageing. They have, however, just created a new breakthrough ingredient called Glycablend for their new Age-Proof line- super exciting!

Not only does it have the Glycablend oil in it to treat fine lines, it also contains CoQ10 to help with skin regeneration, caffeine from green coffee to decrease puffy eyes, jojoba esters to smooth and firm the skin, and horse chestnut to reduce the appearance of dark under eye circles- and more! 

I'll tell you why I'm super impressed with this product. I wasn't even checking to see how the product was effecting my eye area as it had only been a few days of trying the product, then one morning I looked in the mirror while doing my eye makeup and I literally couldn't believe it! I had zero puffiness under my eyes AND my dark under eye circles had improved! Now, I don't normally have that much puffiness under my eyes, however after using this I had literally ZERO puffiness. It is by far the most effective eye product I have ever used. 

I love using it in the mornings as the rollerball not only massages my under eye area but makes the contours of my eyes feel so refreshed and awake. One handy tip with this is that I get much better application results when I leave the bottle sitting upside down, I just find this helps apply a more decent amount of product. 

Overall, I am super impressed with this serum and love it's cute, easy to travel with size. It is a high performance eye serum that leaves the skin feeling nourished, revitalised and refreshed.

This is a fantastic product for those wanting to treat or prevent fine lines, dark circles and puffiness around the eyes. I strongly recommend it! 

Best Used: Day and night, or on the go for a refreshing boost!

Eco Tan Winter Skin Gradual Tanning Moisturiser Review.

Let's face it, I think we can all agree that having golden, luminous skin is a delightful confidence booster. However, many gradual tanning products on the market are full of nasties that you seriously don't want to be slathering your precious body in. 

That's where this beauty comes in...

The Eco Tan Certified Organic Winter Skin Gradual Tanning Moisturiser! 

As I'm not hugely familiar with experimenting with gradual tanning products this was a definitely a new thing for me- and I'm SO glad I tried it! Oh my goodness guys, this is such a gorgeous product. 

Suited best for light to medium skin tones, this all over moisturiser doubles as a gradual tanner all while leaving the skin incredibly soft, making it just perfect for the Winter time! 

So what's in it?

This beauty is perfect for all over the face and body and delivers beautiful results. It contains Aloe Vera and Grape Seed Extract to nourish and moisturise dry skin, while Cacao Fruit Powder provides the natural looking honey glow. It also contains soothing Chamomile Flower Extract, Rose Geranium Oil and more! 

All the ingredients in this product are proudly Certified Organic and/or natural. 

As I mentioned before, I'm new to this sort of product so with each daily application I was still nervous as to how it would turn out! However I was never disappointed with the results. Not only was this hydrating my whole body leaving it feeling super soft and ultra hydrated, it was giving my skin this beyond stunning, natural looking honey glow. (I've tried to think of other words to describe the colour payoff but "honey glow" seriously are the perfect words to describe it!)

After just three applications (one application a day) my skin was looking and feeling simply amazing. If you have really pale skin I'm sure you would notice a difference after just one-two applications, however I noticed the best results after my third. 

It leaves no yucky scent and applies smoothly and wonderfully, just like you would apply a body lotion. I also noticed that even after seven applications I have barely used much of this product so I'm so excited that it's going to last me a long time as I was concerned about this prior to trying it out-phew! I even go days without re-applying and still have beautiful glowy skin.

I absolutely love how with each application I'm not only nourishing my skinbut giving it a beautiful, luminous glow. 

I'm so glad I tried this product, it's now one of my winter must haves. I now can't wait to try the Organic Invisible Tan in Summer too!

Moreish Reawaken Eye Cream Review.

I'm so excited that the Moreish brand is becoming more and more popular in Australia. They deliver so many beautiful, luxurious products for great prices and let's face it-these babies look gorgeous! They also make perfect gifts and have extremely beneficial ingredients. 

So without further ado, today I'm reviewing the Moreish Reawaken Eye Cream!*

This eye cream has a beautiful subtle floral/nutty aroma which smells just beautiful. I really love how the size and shape of the end of the tube distributes a perfect amount of product onto the contours of my eyes-not a necessity I know, but very handy! 

I have loved using this each night as a nourishing eye cream and found it made my eye area incredibly soft yet firm, exactly what you'd like from an eye cream! After using it for a few days I really noticed my eye area looking more hydrated, revived and renewed. It also has a wonderfully rich formula which not only applies super well but absorbs nice and easily too. 

But perhaps the best thing about this eye cream is, of course, the fantastic ingredients! This beauty is made of many of my favourite ingredients including Jojoba Oil, Olive Squalene, Argan Oil, Rosehip Oil, Goji Berry Extract and my all time favourite- Manuka Honey. 

Each of these work to firm the eye area while giving it a perfect intensive nourishing treatment, all while fighting and preventing the visible signs of ageing! 

All of these ingredients are incredibly hydrating and fantastic for repairing the skin. 

If you're in the market for an eye cream I cannot recommend this one enough, I love knowing all the goodness from this product is repairing and renewing my skin as I sleep.
