Banaban Virgin Coconut Oil Shampoo & Conditioner Review.

Coconut Oil is definitely one of my most favourite ingredients in skincare & hair products, however I had never actually tried a shampoo and conditioner with this as the main ingredient!
Introducing the Banaban Virgin Coconut Oil Shampoo & Conditioner!*

Recently one of the shampoo brands I normally buy changed the formula of one of my favourite shampoos which left my scalp dry and irritated. So I was beyond excited to try these beauties, especially after reading the ingredients list!
Both of these are sulphate free and contain the coconut oil from organically grown wild Fiji coconuts!

I have definitely been loving this shampoo & conditioner. I see great results with my hair being soft and silky, as well as it feeling and looking so much more hydrated and nourished. Whenever I use these my scalp is no longer irritated and I don't have to worry!
They are probably one of the best hair products I have ever used. The gorgeous coconut aroma is just incredible and I seriously enjoy using these.

Coconut Oil is so great for our hair and I've listed some benefits below:
-Coconut Oil stimulates hair growth- it gets deep into the hair follicles.
-Promotes scalp health- it contains antibacterial properties which help treat and protect the scalp from bacteria, dandruff & other nasties.
-Extremely moisturising- doesn't let moisture escape and keeps hair soft and nourished.
-Creates shiny hair- it conditions hair from within keeping it shiny, silky and smooth. It also protects hair from heat styling and environmental damage!
-Prevents hair loss and breakage- it is rich in Lauric Acid and helps reduce protein loss in hair.
These are just some of the awesome benefits! I highly recommend these to anyone wanting a more natural, luxurious shampoo and conditioner.

Main Ingredients (Shampoo): Sodium Cocoyl Sarcosinate (coconut derived cleanser), Coco Glucoside (coconut derived cleanser), Virgin Coconut Oil & more.
Main Ingredients (Conditioner): Virgin Coconut Oil, Jojoba Oil, Hydrolysed Keratin, Vitamin B5 & more.

Best Used: As an awesome, every day shampoo and conditioner.

Suitable For: All hair types!

Pros: A little bit goes along way with these which I really love! I have quite long hair and hate having to use so much, but these are perfect! If you gave short hair they will last for ages.

Cons: I do wish they came in bigger bottles.

Price/Purchase From: $22.00 for a 300ml Shampoo & 300ml Conditioner (Come as a pack) - You can purchase these at some local health shops or online at www.Naturepacific.com

Health Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar

When my sister in love first told me about how she swears by this health product I'll admit- it didn't exactly make me jump up and down with excitement. Vinegar? How on earth do people drink some of that every day!?

Well, I am now one of those people.
Personally I love using this to help fight off and prevent colds. It seriously works wonders! I also love this for general health. I take around two teaspoons a day in a glass of water and drink it as fast as I can-it's definitely not the easiest thing for me to drink!
(If preferred you can drizzle some on your salad, veggies etc.)

So what is it?!
ACV is high in Acetic Acid which helps the body absorb important minerals we consume even better.
When talking about ACV I am talking only about the BRAGG brand as it's the highest quality ACV out there-the one used by health fanatics across the globe! This is because it is Certified Organic Raw ACV which contains the "Mother"-those gorgeous looking brown bits that are the powerful essence of the vinegar.
On the BRAGG ACV bottle I love how they have added a bit of ACV history. It states "In 400 B.C Hippocrates, the father of medicine, used it for its amazing natural cleansing, healing and energising properties." Cool hey?!

ACV has SO many health benefits so I decided to list some below:

-Fights Diabetes
(By helping to lower glucose levels-great for those with type 2 diabetes.)
-Aids in Reducing Appetite
(Contains acetic acid which helps slow the rate at which sugars are released into the blood, meaning you feel fuller for longer!)
-Helps Lower Cholesterol Levels
(By reducing the blood lipids that are harmful and contribute to high cholesterol.)
-Aids Digestion
(Especially great for those with stomach disorders like reflux or indigestion.)

The BRAGG website lists even more benefits such as
-Rich in Enzymes & Potassium
-Supports a healthy immune system
-Helps soothe dry throats
-Removes body toxins
-Relieves muscle pains from exercise
And more!!

You can purchase this at most health shops, and it's really inexpensive! I normally buy the 473ml bottle for around $8.00 and it lasts for ages.
Feel free to check out the BRAGG website at www.Bragg.com !

Premium Spa Sugar & Salt Body Scrubs Review.

When I was a young teenager for some reason I always loved body scrubs. Aside from a moisturiser, body scrubs and body butters were my most favourite thing to buy- and one of the first beauty products I ever bought! I guess I have just always loved the whole process of using a scrub!
For ages it seems though, I haven't been able to find one that is right for me-until I tried these beauties.
The Premium Spa Sugar Body Scrub* and the Premium Spa Salt Body Scrub* are definitely my new favourites!

The Sugar Body Scrub with Frangipani and Coconut is just beautiful.
It is a lot thicker than the salt scrub and is perfect for those with normal or oily skin. I love this if I want to give my normal/dry skin a deep exfoliating treatment! The Jojoba Oil also lightly moisturises my skin-but as its designed for normal/oily skin this is only very lightly. This cleanses and exfoliates my skin leaving it feeling fresh, looking glowy and the beautiful frangipani aroma is ultra calming and luxurious.
The Salt Body Scrub with Lemon Butter is also just as radiance-enhancing. It definitely has a lemon scent but there's also other ingredients that add to the aroma in a subtle way.
As this scrub is made for my skin type I definitely love using this one to moisturise and exfoliate at the same time. When I used this the first time I was completely blown away. It felt like not only had my body had a deep exfoliating treatment which made my skin luminous, but it had also intensely nourished my skin with the organic olive oil and sweet almond oil! My skin had never felt so hydrated and smooth. Extremely impressive!
Both of these scrubs are just beautiful. Whenever I use them my skin is always left looking more radiant and feeling extremely soft.
(It's important to add that both of these are far too harsh to be used on the face.)

Favourite Ingredients (Sugar): Australian Sea Salt, Australian Sugar, Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Frangipani Flower Extract & more!
Favourite Ingredients (Salt): Australian Sea Salt, Australian Sugar, Soya Bean Oil, Organic Olive Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Oat Kernel Extract & more!

Best Used: I absolutely love using these in the shower with a natural or normal loofah, or just straight on my hands! Perfect for all over the body except for the face. As I have dry/normal skin I love to put on my favourite body lotion afterwards for even more nourishment!

Suitable For: All skin types, except for sensitive skin.

Pros: A fantastic body scrub that really delivers. No parabens, mineral oils, propylene glycol, sulfates, detergents, fillers or polybeads. A gorgeous natural scrub that leaves skin looking and feeling amazing!! One of the best body scrubs I've ever used.

Cons: The sugar body scrub does have fragrance as the last ingredient so this may not be suitable for some skin types.

Price/Purchase From: $14.99 for 250g (lasts for ages!) Available from most Priceline Pharmacies.

Billie Goat Soap Bath Soak Review.

What better way to end your day then by unwinding in a glorious hot bath *sigh* who doesn't love a good bath?! I know for me I always end up feeling relaxed, calm and at ease.
So as you can imagine I have been absolutely loving the Billie Goat Soap Intensive Moisture Bath Soak*!
I simply love adding Epsom Salts into my baths. This is because the magnesium which the salts are made of helps relax my muscles and gives my whole body an extra magnesium boost. It is also known to give your whole body a detox while also being great for inflammation, cramps, migraines and SO much more! An interesting fact about magnesium is that it is best absorbed through the skin rather than through the digestive tract- meaning if you are low in magnesium (and a lot of us are without knowing it) this product would be so great for you.
So when I read the ingredients list on this product and saw that it not only had Epsom Salts in it but Goats Milk too I couldn't wait to try it! Goats Milk is up there as one of my most favourite skincare ingredients.

I honestly had the most relaxing bath I have ever had using this product. I have tried many different kinds of Epsom Salts before but for some reason this product helped me rest and relax the most. I love it because:
-The salts are benefitting my body
-The goats milk is soothing my skin
-The natural oils are hydrating and softening my skin
-and the calming lavender aroma leaves you feeling extremely relaxed. (This scent is not overpowering and is beautifully subtle.)

This is a fantastic way to not only unwind at the end of the day but get that extra magnesium boost!

Main Ingredients: Epsom Salts, Goats Milk, Macadamia Seed Oil, Olive Oil, Vitamin E & more!

Best Used: At night in a relaxing hot bath. Perfect for unwinding and relieving stress.

Suitable For: Anyone and everyone-especially those needing to de-stress and those needing more magnesium.

Pros: No parabens, SLS, colours, synthetic fragrances-no nasties! A fantastic product for those even with sensitive skin.

Cons: I do wish this came in a bigger tub as I like to use a lot of this!

Price/Purchase From: $16.95 for 170g- You can purchase this from your local pharmacy or online at www.billiegoatsoap.com.au

Nature's Way Whole Foods Women's Multivitamin Review.

With many multivitamins on the market it can be really hard to choose which one is right for you! I know whenever I'm looking in the health and vitamins section I feel so overwhelmed trying to look at all the products available. Basically, I want a multivitamin to do what it claims in the most natural way possible- with no hidden nasties!
Without further ado, introducing the new Nature's Way Whole Foods Multivitamin for Women!*
This multivitamin unlike many, many other vitamins has NO synthetic chemicals-just pure whole foods! This means instead of our bodies consuming synthetic vitamins (which don't offer the full nutritional benefits) we are consuming natural vitamins straight from the earth!
This is exactly what whole foods are- foods closest to their most natural state. Our bodies are able to absorb foods and vitamins in their most natural state better because this is how our bodies are designed!

I have absolutely loved taking this multivitamin. I have definitely felt more energetic and awake during the day and I love knowing that there is no synthetic chemicals going into my body. They are made using 27 different fruits, veggies and herbs which are all fantastic for energy, stress, sport & fitness as well as general health. I have actually loved them so much that I ordered my husband the Men's Multivitamin too! (He's only just started on them but they have been the first multivitamin he's ever taken daily and properly!)
The Nature's Way Whole Foods range also includes Vitamin D3, Vitamin C as well as Magnesium Powder- all made using pure whole foods. These are great natural alternatives and I seriously recommend checking them out!

Here is some more information about this exciting new multivitamin:

Some of the Ingredients Include: Sesbania, Spirulina, Goji, Chlorella, Barley Lead Powder, Cacao, Maca, Saw Palmetto, Broccoli Powder & many more!

Best Used: Taking 1-2 serves morning or night. If preferred you can also open the clear capsule and stir into juice or water-or sprinkle over your food!

Suitable For: These are great for women wanting a natural multivitamin. If you've been taking synthetic vitamins for a long time sometimes you can end up feeling sluggish so these would be a great replacement. Not suitable for children under 15 or pregnant women.

Pros: 100% Whole foods, gluten free, non GMO and vegan! Very inexpensive for what it is and easy to find in stores.

Cons: None.

Price/Purchase From: Around $19.99 for a pack of 50 capsules- Available in your health food section or online at www.Naturesway.com.au

Premium Spa SOS Hand Cream & SOS Foot Scrub Review.

If you're anything like me, sometimes it's all too easy to forget about certain places on our body to treat and take care of. I'm not so much like this anymore, but years ago I would always forget to look after my "Tips and Toes!" The reason I'm not like this anymore however, is because I've seen the amazing results you get when you DO actually remember to take care of your hands and feet as you would your face for example. Now, hand creams and foot scrubs are a very important part of my skincare routine-and I absolutely love them!
Today I'm reviewing the Premium Spa SOS Hand Cream* and Premium Spa SOS Foot Scrub*!

I love both of these.
The hand cream is beautifully lightweight with a rich orange and subtle ginger aroma. I really love how they have used nourishing ingredients that you would want in a hand cream in this! I love using this on hotter days, as the lightweight texture means I can keep applying throughout the day when I need to. Another bonus is that it's so inexpensive! It leaves my skin feeling hydrated, replenished and protected. I also love its size as it doesn't take up too much room in my handbag.

The Foot Scrub has actually become my most favourite foot scrub I've ever used! With its aromatic scent of peppermint and lavender it's seriously really enjoyable to use, yes, enjoyable! This scrub contains pumice and walnut shell in it so it's fantastic as a natural exfoliator! You can use this by itself for a nice quick pick me up for your feet, leaving them softer, cleaner and smoother- or you can use this with a pumice stone for even better results! I found this to remove any unwanted dry areas and left my feet looking and feeling amazing.
For the best, most intense results, I like to towel dry my feet and put a heel cream on then quickly put thick socks on. This keeps all the hydration in and let's your feet soak up the goodness!
I do this often as I am always in sandals or thongs so my feet are exposed to the hot air quite frequently.
This product lasts for ages and is also very inexpensive!

Favourite Ingredients (Hand Cream): Jojoba Seed Oil, Shea Butter, Rosehip Oil, Australian Honey, Hydrolysed Wheat Protein and more!

Favourite Ingredients (Foot Scrub): Pumice, Walnut Shell, Sea Algae Extract, Lemon Myrtle Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Tea Tree Oil and more!

Best Used: The Hand Cream is best used whenever you feel your hands need it of course! The Foot Scrub is best used a few times a week for those prone to dry ankles and feet. (Try the thick socks trick!)

Smells Like: Both of these are very aromatic with the Hand Cream having an orange and subtle ginger scent, and the foot scrub having a strong peppermint and lavender scent. Normally I wouldn't be extremely drawn to both scents but they both smell amazing!

Pros: Both products are fantastic for dry hands and feet. They are extremely inexpensive and have great ingredients for hydrating hands and exfoliating and cleansing feet.

Cons: If you have sensitive skin I would recommend reading the full ingredients list as these do contain fragrance.

Price/Purchase From: Hand Cream $6.99 for 50ml. Foot Scrub-$9.99 for 100ml. These are available at your local Priceline or at www.Priceline.com.au

Sukin Super Greens Facial Moisturiser Review.

I don't think I was the only one who was super excited when we found out about Sukin's new Super Greens range!
Consuming more superfoods into our diet is becoming more and more popular but greens such as spirulina, chlorella and the widely popular kale are now no longer just superfoods for our health but our skin too!
Without further ado, here is my review for the Sukin Nutrient Rich Facial Moisturiser!

Like any other natural skincare lover, I just had to purchase this product the day it became available to buy on the website. I was so excited when this product arrived at my door, and a couple of excited jumps and squeals later I fell in love with this moisturiser more than I thought I would! But incase you're wondering why these ingredients are not only good for your health but your skin too, here's a bit of a break down of the main ingredients and why they are beneficial for the skin:

Kale- Full of vitamins A and K which aids in preventing dry skin and sun damage. It is also known to brighten the skin and help make skin look more youthful.
Spirulina- Full of antioxidants that help defend skin from free radicals. It is also full of proteins, minerals and fatty acids which help provide a more radiant complexion.
Chlorella- Various beneficial nutrients help give skin a natural glow and assist in promoting collagen production.
Parsley- Contains vitamins C, K and Beta Carotene assisting in repairing the skin and providing and even complexion. Also great for reducing puffiness under the eyes.
Acai & Goji- Both full of vitamins and antioxidants that improve skin condition and help skin regeneration.

Not only are the ingredients fantastic- but wait till you smell this product! No it does not smell like greens(phew!)-and no the moisturiser itself isn't a green colour. I honestly had no idea what it was going to smell like or look like till i pumped it onto my hands!
I was really, and I mean really excited about the scent when I first smelt this! It has the most beautiful fresh, almost fruity aroma with a gorgeous creamy texture-and I love it!
It is a beautifully enriched, smooth moisturiser that you will want to keep applying throughout the day. I showed this product to my mother shortly after opening it and she absolutely loved it too.

I love using this for day and night and find it to be extremely nourishing, luxurious and radiance-enhancing. My normal/dry skin absolutely loves soaking in this product and the gorgeous aroma makes it a fresh, beautiful experience!

Main Ingredients: (Those listed above plus more!)

Best Used: I love this as a morning and night moisturiser, but especially in the morning as the beautiful, fresh cranberry scent is a great way to start the day.

Suitable For: All skin types-however I always recommend just checking the ingredients first if you have sensitive skin.

Pros: Sukin are Australian owned and made, 100% vegan, 100% carbon neutral, and have no nasties. A fantastic superfood moisturiser that smells incredible.

Cons: None.

Price/Purchase From: $12.95 for 125ml- I buy my Sukin goodies from my local Priceline or online at www.Sukinorganics.com
